Direct Train to Enchanting Srinagar to Commence in January

The government is planning to introduce the Vande Bharat Metro train service, with the first direct train from Jammu to Srinagar set to commence operations in January. This announcement was made by Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in March, along with the news that the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project was nearing completion.
